Late one sunny autumn afternoon, many years ago, I was sitting on a pillow on the floor of my living room in front of my coffee table. I had recently purchased two selenite palm stones, having read a channeled message from Archangel Metatron that recommended these high-vibration crystals to aid with meditation. I had lit a white candle and despite the urban noises outside my window, felt myself drifting into a zen state of mind.
As I went deeper and deeper into this meditative state, I began to see a familiar pulsing violet disk or circle of light in my mind’s eye, directly between my physicial eyes. This was not the first time I had seen this disk, with its fuzzy, shifting border, but it was still exciting to observe as I had only started seeing it just a few months prior. When at first I searched the internet for what I was seeing, I saw a result where someone claimed it was an image of the crown chakra. And so I believed from that point on, until almost five years later, that it was such. Well, as you may now have guessed, my mentor finally explained all those years later that it was actually my third eye!
For those who may be new to this concept, the etheric third eye is facilitated by your pineal gland, which gets its name from the gland’s pinecone shape. Both the third eye, symbolized by the Ancient Egyptian Eye of Horus, as well as the pinecone shape, have been represented in art throughout history. The pineal gland is located in the top center of the brain, just behind where you would see the third eye clairvoyantly, and has the ability to perceive magnetic waves.
If you have not yet seen this yourself, you can actually train yourself to do so by meditating with a coin placed between your physical eyes and picturing this disk! And if you are trying to imagine what it might look like, it looks similar to a monochromatic violet sunspot on a black background, except that it quivers and pulses with a circular yet slightly shifting border, and has soft, irregular edges — similar to an inkblot.
The color for me can also range; sometimes it will start off faintly as a light, translucent gray color and then begin to intensify into a violet color. I see it most often when I am coming out of my dream state in the morning. The image below is a close approximation to what I see when my third eye is at full intensity, and the border changes shape as it pulses.
Now, resuming my meditation story, I was deep in this state of relaxation, with my third eye beginning to appear and vibrate, when all of a sudden I heard what sounded like the pop of a gigantic firecracker going off somewhere above and behind my head! When I tell you a firecracker, think of one of those foot-tall firecrackers that you light at the (United States) Fourth of July, where a mini rocket launches 15 feet into the air and cracks and sparks so loudly that you have to plug your ears. Almost like the decibel of a gunshot! And it literally shook my living room — I could feel the reverberation off my floor and walls, like an explosion.
OK. So I then jumped out of my skin, flew up onto my feet, and went running over to the window near where I heard the bang. I fully expected to see my neighbors rushing over to the outside of my window or to have seen an emergency vehicle pulling up to investigate further. Well, I looked out my window and there was nothing! No neighbors, no vehicles, no bad guys with guns, no fireworks debris — nothing. I then opened my front door on the other side of my apartment and went out to my stoop. Again, nothing!
At this point, I began to wonder what on earth was going on. Talk about shifting realities. One moment I was deep in meditation, blissfully watching my third eye, and the next minute I was wondering if I was losing it. I could not fathom what I had just heard and felt.
Well, you would think this was the end of this crazy experience, but no. A few days later, I was in my bathroom brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed, when suddenly I began to hear what sounded like a very large mosquito buzzing in my right ear. Like when a mosquito is trapped in your house and you lay down to sleep and you hear it fly right by your head.
Once again, I looked around me for a logical explanation. There was no mosquito anywhere nearby or even in my apartment. And this buzzing sound continued randomly in both ears at night for the next week! I was beyond confused. And then one day, it just stopped.
Well let me tell you, I spent YEARS trying to figure out what I had experienced. I searched the internet, read multiple books, and asked numerous mediums what they thought. I heard it all — the bang was “spirit,” a portal opening, and my “ascension.” And someone claimed the buzzing was an extraterrestrial ship hovering over my house and decalcifying my pineal gland. I know these messages were said with good intent and I always appreciate any reading I receive. But it was not until I asked my guide Winston Churchill, just last year, that I finally got my answer. He said it was Archangel Raphael blending with me and cleaning out my auric ear to help me with my mediumship. I was astonished!
How amazing is that? Now, you might think well that’s a cool story but how does it relate to you? Well, maybe Archangel Raphael has blended with you too. And if you are also wondering what blending is, it is not an Angel or a spirit coming into your body such as in trance, it is more of a subtle, gentle overlay of their energy onto yours for a specific purpose. For more on how Angels can connect with us in the physical, see my previous post on Archangel Michael. And more to come on Archangel Metatron in future posts.
I have never heard Archangel Raphael’s voice but I still talk to him and you can too. And I don’t think that “he” is even just a “he,” because as best I understand it, Angels are androgynous. But if you would like to know what Angels sound like, one of my mentors who can actually hear the Angels singing has verified the authenticity of the following video:
Have you ever heard the Angels singing? I think it is one of the most glorious sounds I have ever heard and it brings me to my knees. Namaste.
