Winston Churchill is one of my primary spirit guides and I love him very much. He is also one of the few spirits who scares me a little. He is very kind but you simply cannot help but feel in awe of him, considering he was such a commanding world leader during his time. Like another of my spirit guides, Yellow Feather, it would be impossible for me to share all of my interactions with Winston in a single post. So I will now share some of my more memorable experiences with him.
For those who may not be familiar, Sir Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of England in the last century, who led his country through and out of World War II. Born into the prominent Spencer family, as was Princess Diana, Winston faced challenges in his youth with his parents and his own rebellious behaviors, that even landed him in prison for a short while. Nevertheless, he overcame these early challenges and led England and other Allied Forces to victory over the Nazis in the 1940s.
Winston was a talented painter and prolific writer, including authoring a multi-volume biography of his ancestor, the Duke of Marlborough. See his painting, Distant View of the Pyramids, below. Married to his beloved Mimi, Winston enjoyed good brandy and cigars, which still he talks about quite often.
Now, what you may not know about Winston, is that he had many hidden aspects to his life, that remain largely unknown to popular history. In fact, Winston had strong ties to the occult and psychic and mediumistic phenomena. It is said that he even predicted his future position as Prime Minister.
One story that Winston once told me and a small group of others via trance, took place during the war. He and his servants were preparing for a large dinner party at his home in England one evening, when Winston somehow received a warning that his household was in imminent danger. He ran into the kitchen and told the servants that he could not say why, but they were to remain in-place. And a short while later, an enemy bomb hit his dining room, where the servants otherwise would have been present had they not received his warning. Winston has not yet told me how he received this warning, whether via psychic premonition, mediumistic channeling, or otherwise. I will update this post if I learn more.
Winston also had close ties to certain renown mediums of his day. Most famously, as he has referenced on several occasions, Winston spent many months lobbying for and eventually facilitating the release of Scottish materialization medium, Helen Duncan. Duncan had allegedly channeled sensitive wartime information in one of her seances, which was previously unknown to the general public. As a result, she was accused of violating 1735 Witchcraft Act. According to Winston, he believed this was unjust and plead her case with the powers that be, eventually helping to secure her release in 1944.
It is said that Winston also had a connection to medium Aleister Crowley, a spirit I have spoken with on a few occasions. It has been said that Winston was given the idea of the “V is for Victory” wartime slogan by Crowley, as a reference to a pagan symbol for the Ancient Egyptian God, Horus. Read more here. Interestingly, it also resembles the alchemy symbol for the earth element and appears to have evolved into the peace sign of the 1960s. While Winston has not yet spoken of this connection or symbolism to me, I can say that there is more light to Crowley than has been portrayed in history. More to come on Crowley in future posts.
As my spirit guide, Winston has shared many teachings with me (and others), that have helped me greatly on my path to mediumship. One of his teachings is about time and our temporal existence. He says that it does not matter how much time you have — what matters is what you do with the time you have been given. He has also said that instead of saying to yourself, “I wish,” you can say, “I remember when.” This teaching has been so helpful to me with embracing my limited physical existence, and learning to live with no regrets. Another of my spirit guides, Luther, also talks about this concept, noting that you may have regrets about your life experiences, but you wouldn’t be who you are now without them.
A well-known teaching that Winston has shared as well is, “The kite flies higher against the wind.” When he first shared this teaching with me, I did not fully understand it. But as Winston has stated in another way, if someone gets pissed off at you, maybe it’s a good thing because it means you have stood up for yourself! This may particularly resonate with those living an existence of a so-called Black Sheep, or those sharing a different perspective on life. It’s not always easy to stand up for your ideals, but it is so important for each individual to live their truth. In other words, go for it.
Winston has also described what it is like to experience death! How amazing is that? He said that once you have died, it can take some time for you to realize it has happened. It may begin with feeling very, very cold. You then would likely find yourself in a familiar yet mundane scenario from your physical life, such as sitting on your couch watching television.
Next, you might start to notice odd physical phenomena, like the straight lines of your plaid pajama bottoms starting to look not-so-straight — like you are starting to drift into another dimension of reality. As you start to come to an awareness that something is off, you would likely then look around and see some sort of light. It could be any light, even a street light out a window, which you should feel guided to move towards. This is why we always hear about guiding lost souls to the light.
Eventually, you would then be greeted by your loved ones and guides. According to Winston, this experience is the most spiritual experience of a lifetime for the majority of people on Earth! I think about this quite often. Now, I have no doubt there could be variations on this experience, but it gives me such comfort to hear about how gentle — and spiritual — crossing over could be. As always, I will share more about this concept as I learn more.
And one of Winston’s favorite topics is extraterrestrials, or ET’s. For example, he has noted that ET’s successfully stopped any continued development of nuclear weapons in the 1960s. I was astounded when he shared this! But you have to admit, what else could explain why ostensibly, no entity has been successful in using nuclear weapons since around that time? This gives me such hope for peace on Earth, despite what we may see around us.
Winston has also shared that the Sasquatch, or Bigfoot, are not only real beings, but they are ET’s! He has said that sadly, they were brought here long ago to be hunted, and as of a few years ago, only 57 of them still remained on Earth. Below is an excellent video from an alleged 2023 sighting in Colorado, which I originally saw featured on Season 7, Episode 2 of Paranormal Caught on Camera:
For my last item, you might remember a news story from 2020 (see video below) about the so-called Utah Monolith, in which that strange metal box was photographed in a remote area in the Grand Canyon? According to Winston, it was placed there by a race of ETs called the Arcturians, as a listening device! And Winston has stated that the roughly 372,000 alleged sightings around the world that followed, were of replica devices. There is actually only one genuine device, that continues to phase in and out. How amazing is that? It’s like a Star Trek storyline!
Do you connect to Winston Churchill in your daily practice? As I have advised in previous posts, try speaking to him, out loud, and see what you get back. He can hear you and as we have learned, he is very wise. I myself speak to him every day — and when he speaks during seances or visits me in the physical! — and keep a Bank of England five-pound note with his picture on my altar as a daily reminder. In fact, I will never forget his sage advice from a few years ago, when he told me, “Keep going, don’t give up, and everything will be just dandy.”
